Common questions
Is this a walk-in clinic?
Please call the clinic first. Reception will ask about your symptoms and give you a time, which keeps your wait short and lets us prepare for your visit.
What if this is an emergency?
If you have chest pain, severe bleeding, difficulty breathing, or signs of a stroke, call 911 or go to the Fort St. John Hospital emergency department. Do not wait for a same-day appointment.
Can I use a same-day appointment for a prescription refill?
Same Day Access is for new, acute problems. For refills, chronic-condition reviews, or ongoing care, please book a regular appointment with your family physician.
Are appointments first-come, first-served?
Patients are seen based on medical urgency rather than the order they called. We appreciate your patience when someone needs care more urgently.
